Save the date!

We are pleased to announce the dates for the upcoming Straniak Academy Summer School and the CMS! Closing Conference. Both events will take place during the week of September 10-16, 2023, at the Slovenian Youth and Health Resort in Debeli rtič. The resort is part of the picturesque landscape park of Debeli rtič and is located directly by the sea – a perfect place to sharpen our minds and gain new perspectives.

The conference itself will take place on September 11-12, 2023, and will focus on the conclusion of the Clean Mediterranean Sea! (CMS!) project. The results of the project will be presented and discussed, as well as possible further steps and political follow-up. All participants of the Summer School will also attend the conference. Following the conference, the topic of plastic pollution in the sea and rivers will be further explored from a legal perspective by the Academy participants, who will work on it independently under supervision.

The Summer School is a wonderful opportunity for exchange and further education in an interdisciplinary framework. It is primarily aimed at students and graduates of the following fields of study: law, international relations, and marine biology.
